Botanical description. Umbrella plant up to 1-2 m in height; in the ribs on the stem there are channels with milky juice. Grows in Iran and Afghanistan.
Active ingredients: gum-like substances, essential oil and a number of other bactericidal substances.
Application. Previously, it was administered orally as a tincture for inflammation of various kinds and painful menstruation. At present, it is only sometimes included in rubbing for rheumatic pains.
