ELEMENTS OF AGROTECHNICAL CULTIVATION
Perennial types of bluebells are propagated by seeds, cuttings and division of bushes. Seeds are sown in spring and autumn in boxes or soil. Large bushes are divided in spring or autumn and planted at a distance of 45-50 cm. Bells with a vertical root are not divided. When planting, the root neck is placed at the level of the soil plane, and after planting, it is watered every day or every other day for 10-15 days. Bluebells are undemanding to soils, but for better growth and abundant flowering they require open sunny places with well-cultivated, sufficiently fertilized soils. For 1 m 2 of heavy clays and loams, 15, and on light 10 kg of humus or compost soil are added. For better flowering during the growing season, plants are fed 2-3 times with mineral fertilizers.
