Annual herbaceous plant 20-60 cm high. Stem erect, branched. The leaves are alternate, light green or yellowish green, pinnately dissected. The flowers are collected in panicles of a pyramidal shape, located at the tops of the stems, small. Blooms from July to October. The fruit is lenticular, black-gray.
Fragrant marmot is widespread in the Caucasus and Western Siberia. It grows in sandy, gravelly and rocky places, along roads and rises to mountains up to 2500 m.
Medicinal raw material is a herb collected during flowering.
An infusion of the herb is drunk for disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, headaches, dizziness, nervous disorders and insomnia.
Application
Infusion: 1 tbsp. a spoonful of grass insist 3-4 hours in 1 cup of boiling water and drink 1/4-1/3 cup of infusion 3 times every day before meals.
