Plant with a straight, strong, branched pubescent stem, 50-100 cm tall. The leaves are triangular-ovate with a sharp apex and a heart-shaped base, coarsely serrated along the edge, green above, gray-green below. The flowers are rather small, whitish or reddish, with a thin tube and a concave kidney-shaped middle lobe of the lower three-lobed lip, collected on the tops of the stem, branches in dense oblong inflorescences. Blooms in June-August.
Found in shrubs, slopes and weeds.
Contains essential oil, bitter substance, glycosides, tannins, saponins.
Water decoction is drunk for chronic bronchitis and gastric diseases, hysteria, melancholy, cholera, menstrual disorders.
Application
Infusion: 1 tbsp. a spoonful of herbs for 1.5 cups of boiling water, leave for 2 hours. Take 1 tbsp. spoon 30 minutes before meals 4 times every day.
