with bearing round-heart-shaped, incised into wide unequal cavities, slightly pubescent leaves on long (10-15 cm) petioles. An elongated floral arrow topped with a drooping umbel of purple flowers. Blooms in May-July.
Distributed in the forest and alpine belts of Western and Eastern Siberia, it is also found in the European part of Russia. It grows on shady slopes, near streams and rivers.
Medicinal raw materials are grass or the whole plant. In folk medicine, cortusa is used to treat epilepsy (epilepsy), deafness, and memory loss.
