Pharmacy name: Dubrovnik herb – Teucrii herba (formerly: Heiba ​​Teucrii).

Botanical description. Small shrub up to 25 cm tall with rounded branches, sometimes with a red-violet hue. The leaves are opposite, serrated; pinkish-red flowers, located in the axils of the upper leaves. This European plant is found on sunny edges, scree slopes, prefers calcareous soils.

Active ingredients: essential oil, bitterness, tannins.

Application. It is used as a gastric remedy for diseases of the intestines and gallbladder, to stimulate appetite, sometimes for bronchitis and gout.
