Botanical description. This palm tree with large hard leaves grows in the tropical regions of Africa, Asia and Australia.
active ingredients. Red resin consists of a mixture of various esters of benzoic and benzoacetic acids.
Application. Previously, dragon tree resin was used as a remedy for diarrhea and in the manufacture of medicines for inflammation of the oral mucosa. It is now sometimes used as a dye for tooth powders and pastes.
