Perennial herbaceous plant with ribbed pubescent stem. The leaves are dark green, pinnately dissected. Baskets of flowers are spherical, solitary, located at the ends of the stems. Marginal flowers in baskets are lilac-purple, middle ones are lighter, smaller. Blooms in July-August.

Distributed in Western Siberia in the forest and forest-steppe zones, in meadows, in sparse forests, found in the fields as a weed.

Medicinal raw material is a herb. In folk medicine, an infusion of the herb is used for jaundice, itchy rashes, delayed menstruation, and back pain.

Fresh crushed grass is applied to wounds and itchy rashes.

Application

Infusion: 2 teaspoons or 1 tbsp. a spoonful of grass insist 2 hours in a glass of boiling water and drink according to Art. spoon 3-4 times every day.
