Botanical description. Perennial herb, reaching a height of 60 to 120 cm, with unpaired leaves. Bluish moth flowers are collected in brushes on long peduncles. Found in Eastern and Southern Europe and Asia Minor.
Active ingredients: guanidine derivatives, flavone glycosides, tannins, saponins, bitterness.
Application. In folk medicine, it is used to increase the secretion of milk in nursing mothers and as a remedy for diabetes (I want to warn you that later it is debatable). It is also considered a mild diuretic.
