Macromastia is quite rare, so until now it is a poorly understood disease.

It is manifested by a rapid (6–8 months) diffuse increase in tissue in both glands. The disease develops during puberty (11–15 years), sometimes between the ages of 20 and 35, which prevents women from living and working fully. All this leads to mental and physical disorders.
