Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

In pregnancy, it is likely that the expected result of therapy outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

Side effects

On the part of the digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, heartburn, a feeling of fullness in the stomach, stomatitis.

Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria, bronchospasm (mainly in patients with bronchial hyperreactivity).

Other: drowsiness, fever; rarely – tinnitus; reflex cough, local irritation of the respiratory tract, rhinorrhea (with inhalation use); burning at the injection site (for parenteral use).

In patients with broncho-obstructive syndrome (it develops quite often against the background of increased bronchospasm), acetylcysteine ​​should be combined with bronchodilators.
