Indications for use:
Bronchial asthma; chronic bronchitis with asthmatic component.

Pharmacological action:
Bronchodilator (expanding the lumen of the bronchi) means of long-term action. Selectively stimulates beta-adrenergic receptors. Relaxes the smooth igusculature of the bronchi and reduces their reactivity; inhibits (suppresses) the release of histamine, leukotrienes and prostaglandin D2 (biologically active substances involved in the regulation of bronchial tone) by mast cells. The bronchodilatory effect of salmeterol usually manifests itself after 5-10 minutes after a single injection and is saved within 12 hours.

Sabneterol (Salmeterol) method of administration and doses:
Salmeterol is prescribed only for adults. A single dose of 50 mcg 2 times a day. In severe cases, a single dose may be increased to 100 mcg.
