Haemodesunt (Hemodez)

Name:Haemodesunt

Indications for use:
Toxic forms (with the release of harmful substances into the blood) of gastrointestinal diseases, burns, as a result of infectious diseases, etc. Hemodez can give a good detoxification effect in sepsis (infection of the blood with microbes from the focus of purulent inflammation), but due to a possible decrease in blood pressure requires careful monitoring of the condition of the patient.

Pharmacological action:
It has a detoxifying (removing harmful substances from the body) action (polyvinylpyrrolidone binds toxins / harmful substances / circulating in the blood); rapidly excreted by the kidneys and partly through the intestines.

Haemodesunt (Hemodez) method of administration and dose:
Intravenous drip up to 300-500 ml, children 5-10 ml per 1 kg of body weight.
Hemodez is administered intravenously drip at a rate of 40-80 drops per minute. If intravenous administration is not possible, subcutaneous administration is acceptable, but the effect in this case is less pronounced.
The solution is heated before the introduction to +35 – +36 ‘C. Adults are given up to 300-500 ml at a time, children – 5-10 ml / kg.
Repeated injections are made after 12 hours or more after the end of the previous infusion.
The number of injections and the total amount of injected Hemodez depend on the nature and course of the pathological process (disease). In acute gastrointestinal diseases and intoxications (poisoning), 1-2 infusions are usually sufficient. In case of burn disease in the phase of intoxication (1-5th day of illness) and in the phase of intoxication of acute radiation sickness, 1-2 infusions are performed, with hemolytic disease (destruction of red blood cells with the release of hemoglobin into the blood) and toxemia (the presence of toxins / harmful substances in the blood / that can lead to illness or death of the body) newborns – from 2 to 8 infusions (every day or 2 times every day).

Haemodesunt (Hemodez) contraindications:
Hemorrhage in the brain, bronchial asthma, acute nephritis (kidney inflammation).

Haemodesunt (Hemodez) side effects:
