Botanical description. A herbaceous plant with a creeping or ascending stem up to 5-15 cm in height, with small terete fleshy leaves and shiny yellow flowers. It occurs in dry sunny places, on walls, stones, on roadsides.
Active ingredients: a lot of alkaloids, tannins, mucus, gums, rutin.
Application. Very infrequently used as a means of draining blood pressure; in folk medicine – with poorly healing wounds; in homeopathy – with bleeding hemorrhoids.
